My journey towards a healthier, happier and more sustainable life started in 2009 when I started considering the effects my actions had on the world. I began making efforts to reduce my environmental footprint and through those efforts discovered the joys of gardening, farming, DIY activities and giving back to my community. I participated in the 2009 Climate Ride and met people like No Impact Man, Alison Gannett and Roz Savage, who taught me that one drop of water causes a ripple effect in the entire puddle and that one person can inspire change.
While I recognize that not everyone wants to do as much as I am doing, I challenge you to stop and think about the effect your actions have on your own health, your community and the sustainability of our planet. There are many simple things we can do to make the world a better place. I continue striving to live a greener, more sustainable life and look forward to sharing my experiences with you! Hopefully some of my actions will inspire you!
