2015 and 2016 were tough years for me. I was injured much of 2015 and in 2016 other life priorities took over and triathlon moved to the back burner. 2017 may prove to be a similar year, but I am also planning a fun race schedule and definitely establishing a few health and fitness goals:
2017 Goals:
- First things first I need to get back to swim, bike, running
- Race in 1 new state
- Swim 3 miles [this can be in a pool, if I can’t find an OWS]
- Become a stronger and faster cyclist [at least 1 mph faster]
- Run a 13.1 under 2:15
- Run a 5K/10K with my staff [maybe an Autism run since this is the field we work in]
Tentative 2017 Races:
- A few 10Ks and 10 milers
- A half marathon (TBD)
- Kinetic Half
- Rock Hall International
- Williamsburg Olympic
- Maryland Swim for Life (3 mile?)
- Ironman 70.3 Canada
- (Maybe) Ironman Wisconsin
